ABOUT LAWYERS FOR LEARNING

Lawyers for Learning is a section of the Monroe County Bar Association committed to connecting members of the legal community who volunteer as mentors at Rochester City School District’s Henry Hudson School No. 28 at 450 Humboldt St., Rochester, NY 14610. School 28 is an elementary school grades Pre-K through 6, and also hosts a large number of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Bilingual (Spanish) students.

Volunteers for Lawyers for Learning spend one hour per week during the school year working in a classroom to help improve academic performance, build self-esteem, provide professional role-modeling and increase self-confidence.
