The mission of the committee is to:
A) Make recommendations to other committees and sections to provide CLE and other tools to assist MCBA members in enhancing their practices, adapting to technological innovation, and achieving reasonable technological competence in all aspects of their practices, including such matters as e‐discovery, artificial intelligence, data privacy and cybersecurity.
B) Develop information sheets, checklists, and other materials for members to use in making technology decisions in their practices.
C) Enhance protection of the public and our members by recommending best practices for the adoption of legal technology.
D) Consider ways in which new legal technologies can be employed to bridge the “justice gap” and provide better access to courts and legal services for those currently unable to afford lawyers.
