This program is designed to provide information about cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection as required by NY State.  The program will cover various technological aspects of protecting client and law office electronic data and communication; vetting and assessing vendors and other third parties; applicable laws relating to cybersecurity and data privacy; and law office cybersecurity, privacy and data protection policies and protocols. 

Effective July 1, 2023, New York Attorneys must complete 1.0 CLE credit hour in the new Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection category of credit as part of their CLE requirement.
