Summary

This course will cover how to adequately prepare your client to testify while staying within the ethical and legal bounds of your representation, including how to ethically prepare a witness, what to do when your client wants to lie on the stand, and how to present factual and legal issues to your client. Former MCBA President and Empire Justice Center Chief Strategy Officer Jill Paperno and Empire Justice Center Litigation Director Melinda Fithen will answer these and other questions about best practices in witness preparation.
