Description: This webinar will guide corporate, health care, and other legal counsel through the various legal issues that are encountered by counsel that are unique to health care providers. The panel will address the following issues and considerations –

  • The structuring of transactions in light of various statutory and regulatory requirements and limitations, including the corporate practice of medicine, fee splitting prohibitions, self-referral (such as Stark) laws, and anti-kickback provisions
  • Organizational and legal entity structure issues, including issues involving providers with different licensure
  • The drafting of provider agreements, including services agreements and leases
  • Best practices to ensure compliance
