Summary

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City, where transgender, gay and bisexual people heroically fought back against police harassment and violence over the course of several days. This sparked the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement we know today, and its ripple effect continues to be seen around the world. This panel proudly features living legends of the upstate New York LGBTQ+ legal communities who share their experiences of how being LGBTQ+ in our profession has changed since Stonewall, wisdom of hard lessons learned along the way toward equality, and vision of where the Rainbow Road may take us next.
